If you are interested in joining ARES in Malheur County, please click here: REGISTER  and follow the form page instructions to complete and verify your email validity.

Malheur County is currently served by the following repeaters:  147.120 on Lime Hill, 147.100 on the Butte, 146.72 (PL 103.5) on Cottonwood mountain.  These repeaters are in Oregon.  Several other repeaters located in Idaho and Baker County Oregon also reach into large areas of Malheur county.  Notably, the 147.24 on Cinnebar Mtn and the 145.170 on Lime Hill (PL 110.9Hz).  These repeaters with the exception of the 146.72 use a PL of 100 Hz.

There is not currently an organized ARES presence in Malheur County.  The Treasure Valley Radio Association represents the organized hams in this area and most of the members live in Idaho.  This club or individual members own and operate the repeaters listed above except for the Cinnebar Mtn. and Baker County Oregon repeaters.  Please refer to the web page for K7OJI for more information about this amateur group.
